Evil Apple Butter

Romans invented apple butter to preserve apples (apples are from that part of the world )

We found their recipe from the 1300's and it's absolutely the best apple butter we've ever tasted. It's very labor intensive, taking about 30 hours to make each batch.

Unlike our Medieval Apple Butter, we give this one a bit of a kick. It's made the same, but:

Only 2 ingredients apples...and red pepper flakes!

No added sugar, spices, or fillers.

During the fall season we use only local NM apples. The rest of the year we get commercial organic apples from Washington.

Comes in sealed half-pint jars. Shelf stable. Refrigerate after opening.
